Hi!
My name is Audrey and I'm a Montreal based
artist and textile designer and printer.
I've always had a fascination with wallpapers and I kinda suspect it all started with
the pretty/scary (pretty scary??) pink clown wallpaper that covered
the walls of my room when I was just a wee toddler.
I founded Walls of Ivy in 2012 and chose the name as an homage to my paternal
Grandma Ivy Bradbury, a very strong and modern woman.
The fact that ivy (the plant not the woman) loves to climb and cover walls
everywhere just kinda sealed the deal for me!

I love creating unique, slow handcrafted designs.
Everything stems from india ink drawn on white cotton paper with quills or paint brushes.
With all of the incredible technology available to create today, I must admit I
still largely prefer getting my hands dirty when creating my patterns.
I personally screen print all of your orders by hand in a lovely studio on the Plateau Mont-Royal.
All the inks are water based and mixed by hand and
the papers I use are grade A, clay coated and sustainably harvested.
