The Rosalind gown brings the romance of an English garden to your illusion back, with hand-placed three-dimensional floral lace appliqués that bloom across skin-matched tulle in an asymmetric, organic arrangement. Each flower is individually cut from French corded lace and hand-stitched with raised petals that cast delicate shadows on the skin beneath. The front features a classic V-neckline on a soft A-line silhouette, while the floral appliqués trail from the back bodice down into the sweep train, as if the flowers are growing from the gown itself. Custom-made to your measurements, the appliqué placement is tailored to your back's proportions for a naturally beautiful arrangement.

Sculpting Flowers from Thread

Each of the Rosalind's floral appliqués is cut from French corded lace produced by a century-old atelier in Calais, then sculpted by hand to create raised, three-dimensional petals that give each flower a lifelike quality. Our embroidery artisans use a technique called trapunto — inserting tiny amounts of padding beneath certain petals — to create the shadow effect that makes the flowers appear to float above the skin. No two Rosalind gowns are identical, as the appliqué placement is designed individually for each bride's proportions, creating a bespoke botanical garden unique to you.
