The Ophelia gown elevates the illusion back to wearable art, with intricate beaded embroidery cascading across skin-matched tulle in a design inspired by Art Nouveau botanical motifs. The beading extends from the cap sleeves across the shoulders and down the entire back panel, creating a tattoo-like effect where crystals, pearls, and glass beads appear painted directly onto the skin. The front features a modest bateau neckline and fitted mermaid silhouette in champagne silk, while the back tells a completely different, more daring story. Custom-crafted to your measurements, the beading pattern is scaled to your frame for perfect proportional harmony.

A Masterpiece Revealed

The moment the last hook closes, your mother steps back and presses her hand to her mouth — the beaded back is even more stunning than she imagined. As you walk toward the ceremony, the crystals catch the light and the Art Nouveau pattern seems to move and breathe with you, as if the botanical motifs are growing across your skin in real time. One Hundred and Fifty Hours of Handwork

The Ophelia's back panel is our atelier's most labour-intensive creation, requiring approximately one hundred and fifty hours of hand-embroidery per gown. The Art Nouveau design is first hand-drawn by our textile artist, then translated into a beading map that specifies the exact placement of each Swarovski crystal, freshwater pearl, and Czech glass bugle bead. The illusion tulle is available in twelve skin-tone shades and is so fine that from even a short distance, the beading appears to float directly on the bride's skin — an effect we call our 'living tattoo' technique.
